Tannat, variedad tradicional de nuestro país, originalmente de Madiran, Francia. Esta cepa nos representa internacionalmente con una perfecta adaptación al clima y al suelo de nuestra región. (Canelón Chico, Canelones).
La uva Tannat tiene excelente propiedades en beneficio de la salud gracias a su alta concentración de polifenoles.(2.5 veces más que la Cabernet Sauvignon)
